About our client
A Brisbane-based civil-electrical contractor delivering public lighting, intelligent transport systems, traffic signals, and underground/overhead power across Queensland. They support tier one programs and council works, with field crews, project engineers and supervisors working closely with network operators and road authorities.
Responsibilities
Coordinate underground electrical and conduit works for network, subdivision and brownfield upgrade projects.
Deliver ITS and traffic signal packages end to end: pits and pipe, poles and lanterns, detectors, cabinets/controllers, comms and integration testing.
Plan trenching, pits and pipe, conduit racks and cable pulls with site teams.
Run take-offs and support procurement with accurate scopes and quantities.
Allocate crews, plant and subcontractors to hit milestones.
Keep ITPs, QA records, as-builts and close-out documentation clean and current.
Check and coach supervisors on sequencing, standards and safety.
Line up permits, outages, inspections and traffic management where required.
Track progress, risks and resourcing needs and report to the PM.
Apply and uphold Energy Queensland (Ergon/Energex) requirements for URD and subdivision reticulation.
