About our client
Our client is a Brisbane consultancy across civil, water and structural engineering. The team pairs deep technical capability with an in-house AI-assisted design platform to accelerate feasibility and subdivision design, delivering headline projects across South East Queensland and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Water team to deliver civil and water designs across urban development and infrastructure projects from concept to issued-for-construction.

  • Oversee and sign off on Stormwater Management Plans (SMPs), Hydrologic Impact Assessments (HIAs), flood studies, drainage studies and related correspondence.

  • Set technical standards for pavements, earthworks and civil design; ensure work aligns with applicable Australian Standards and local authority requirements.

  • Coordinate resources and workflows across engineers, drafters and external partners to meet scope, budget and program.

  • Review and guide designs from first principles through to software-enabled modelling and documentation.

  • Engage with clients and project teams to define deliverables, agree programs and manage changes.

  • Produce and maintain tidy design packages, QA records and revisions that meet company and client standards.

  • Mentor and develop junior engineers; provide clear feedback, training and technical coaching.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, templates and processes to lock in repeatable best practice.
