About our client
A growth-focused civil and electrical contractor delivering end-to-end projects in power distribution and ITS. The team partners with public and private asset owners to upgrade critical transport and energy infrastructure. Expect a tight delivery culture, clear communication, and pride in handover quality.

Responsibilities

  • Own project delivery from award to handover across multiple civil and electrical packages.

  • Lead procurement, trade letting, head contract claims, and subcontractor claim assessment.

  • Drive program, cost, quality, and safety outcomes with look-aheads and live risk registers.

  • Chair PCGs, site and subcontractor meetings; issue minutes and action trackers.

  • Manage design coordination, RFIs, technical queries, and services interfaces.

  • Administer contracts, variations, EOTs, and progress claims with accurate forecasting.

  • Coordinate commissioning, testing, and asset handover documentation.

  • Build strong relationships with clients, utilities, and suppliers; maintain clear status reporting.

  • Mentor Site and CA teams; uphold delivery standards on and off site.


Skills & experience

  • 5+ years as a Project Manager with a contractor in civil or electrical infrastructure.

  • Proven delivery of ITS, street lighting or signalling

  • Strong commercial acumen across subcontracts, cash flow, and cost control.

  • Confident with drawings, specs, and services coordination.

  • Tools: MS Project or similar, Procore or equivalent, Excel, Office.

  • Relevant degree or trade background preferred; White Card required.

  • Current driver’s licence and ability to work across SEQ sites.
