Operations Manager – NSW

Lead a critical long-term industrial services contract at a major NSW power generation site. This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in heavy industrial maintenance and contractor management. You'll be responsible for driving operational performance, building exceptional client relationships and positioning the business for ongoing contract success.

About the Company

Our client is a leading provider of essential asset and infrastructure services, delivering maintenance and operational solutions across the power, utilities, transport, telecommunications and industrial sectors. With a strong reputation for safety, technical capability and long-term client partnerships, they are seeking a respected Operations Manager to lead a flagship NSW operation and play a key role in securing the next phase of the contract.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience managing large industrial maintenance or facilities management operations within power generation, mining or heavy industry.

  • Strong background across mechanical and electrical maintenance, industrial cleaning and heavy civil operations.

  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted client relationships, lead high-performing teams and consistently deliver operational and commercial outcomes.

  • Sound understanding of safety leadership, contract management, workforce planning and continuous improvement within complex operational environments.

  • Willingness to work on site near Mt Piper, with a Monday to Friday drive-in/drive-out arrangement from Sydney or surrounding regions.
