We're looking for an experienced Estimator to join a growing infrastructure contractor delivering electrical, civil and utility projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an established estimator or someone with a strong electrical, civil or engineering background looking to transition into estimating.

About the Company

This well-established infrastructure contractor delivers end-to-end electrical, civil and telecommunications projects across Queensland. With a strong pipeline of work spanning utility, transport, road and renewable energy sectors, the business has built a reputation for delivering quality outcomes, investing in its people and maintaining a collaborative, growth-focused culture. The role will see you working closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities, prepare competitive tenders and contribute directly to the continued success of the business. The position description outlines responsibility for managing the full tender lifecycle, including opportunity identification, take-offs, BOQs, supplier pricing, tender submissions and post-award handover.

Requirements

  • Previous estimating experience within electrical, civil or infrastructure projects.

  • Experience tendering TMR/DTMR ITS, major road infrastructure, traffic signals, URD, overhead line or renewable energy projects.

  • Knowledge of Queensland WHS, Electrical Safety legislation and Energex or other utility authority standards.

  • Trade qualification in Electrical or Civil Construction, or tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction (highly regarded).

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to prepare accurate take-offs, pricing, supplier negotiations and competitive tender submissions.
