About our client
Our client boutique design, construction and project management firm based in South East Queensland, delivering industrial, commercial and education projects across the region. They pride themselves on build quality, stakeholder relationships and delivering on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Let and administer head contracts and subcontracts: scopes, comparisons, negotiations, award recommendations and contract execution.

  • Manage procurement schedules aligned to program; issue and track POs; expedite long-lead items.

  • Administer progress claims, variations (VOs), EOTs and cost reports; maintain accurate forecast-to-complete.

  • Prepare and review subcontractor payment claims, retentions and compliance (insurances, SWMS, licenses).

  • Coordinate RFIs, site instructions and drawing/document control; ensure latest revisions are issued to site.

  • Support the Site/Project Manager to keep program and budget on track; contribute to look-ahead planning.

  • Maintain QA/ITPs, test results and close-out documentation for practical completion and handover.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, utilities and authorities; minute meetings and track actions to closure.

  • Contribute to risk registers, value engineering and buildability reviews.

  • Uphold safety, environmental and quality standards across all project communications.


What you’ll bring

  • 2 + years CA experience with a builder on commercial/industrial projects.

  • Strong understanding of head contracts and subcontract forms; confident with VOs, EOTs and progress claims.

  • Competent with construction programs and drawings; disciplined document control.

  • Proficient in most of these softwares: Microsoft Suite (Inc Microsoft Projects), JobPac, Procore, and Hammertech.

  • Clear written communication, stakeholder savvy and a proactive, solutions-first mindset.
